KARISMA emerged from the Guildford Harmony ranks in 2003 and have been entertaining audiences ever since.
Kath (Tenor) has sung in several quartets over the past 20 years, mostly as a tenor. Assistant M.D. and Tenor Section Leader she's a busy member of the chorus, but loves performing with KARISMA.
Maureen (Lead) a.k.a. Briggsy, usually sings baritone in the chorus, but the quartet needed a lead, so she decided to give it a go as she thought it would be easy (typical baritone). KARISMA is her first quartet, but she's been a barbershopper for more than 20 years.
Isabel (Baritone) has proved her versatility by singing in all four sections of Guildford Harmony over the years and, along with Kath and Maureen H, is a valued member of the Music Team. KARISMA is her first 'serious' quartet.
Maureen (Bass) has sung in two previous competing quartets - 'Birds of a Feather' and 'Kismet'. Another flexible member of the chorus, she's finally settled on the bass section, which she now leads.
KARISMA have a wide repertoire under their belts and often do a spot at Guildford Harmony's sing-outs. They have a great time learning new songs, and singing together 'for fun', but haven't ruled out competition altogether.
